The 1879 Portland directory lists the “Barnum & Campbell” portrait gallery on the east side of Fifth between Morrison and Yamhill. The 1882 directory lists John Campbell as a photographer whose home (and possibly studio) was on the SE corner of Fifth and Columbia.
