Miss Bertha M. Breyman (Portland)
She joined the Oregon Camera Club on April 14, 1897. In the 1904 OCC exhibition she showed “Tidelands” which was reproduced in the Oregonian of October 9. 1904. In 1905 she exhibited “The Meadow” at the First American Photographic Salon in New York. This exhibition toured and was shown at the Portland Art Museum in 1905. Will Walker (q.v.,) writing for the June 1905 issue of Camera Craft, described “The Meadow” as “a simple bit of landscape, well chosen and artistically finished” and the magazine published it on pg. 350. She resigned her OCC membership in the fall of 1905. She lived at 355 Hassalo St.
