1919: “Lindsley Hall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert F. Hall, is visiting his parents for the month before leaving for New York, where he is connected with the archaeological department of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Approx. 1200 prints and negatives of Lindsley’s are in the Oregon Historical Society. He was an amateur photographer and took pictures around Portland, and was a noted Egyptologist and made photographs in Egypt during the course of his duties as draftsman copying antiquities.
