Getty & McCool

Joined the International Photographic Association in May 1910. The photographer’s club exchanged prints and real photo postcards, and he offered “5×7 and smaller, on developing paper, of mostly studio work, some views.” He resigned on account of lack of time in October, 1910. He then opened a studio “Getty & McCool” with Ira McCool (q.v.) They produced some Indian portraits. His negatives are now in both the Lake County Museum and the Schminck Museum in Lakeview. Mark Getty’s son, Alfred Getty is a photographer living in St. Helens, and published a book of St. Helens photographs after the eruption.
