J. F. Brink (Portland)
An oil painter who made portraits and scenic works. His studio was at 5 Morrison, next door to Woodards photography gallery. By 1865, he was employed at the gallery by Joseph Buchtel (q.v.) as the darkroom printer. He also did the copy work. CDV copies of Brink’s paintings were offered for sale by the gallery.
By 1871 he was operating “J. F. Brink & Co.” in Bexar County, Texas.
