1859: “Ambrotype and Photographic Rooms, Opposite Geo. Abernathy & Co.’s Brick store, Oregon City. The undersigned are prepared to take likenesses, such as Ambrotypes, Melainotypes, Photographs, or Pictures on Patent Leather, suitable for sending in letters, all of which will be executed in the Latest and Neatest Style, and on short notice, and reasonable terms. Groups and Locket pictures taken very low. Call and examine our pictures, and judge for yourselves. Rooms opposite Abernethy & Co.’s brick store. Holland & Day.
